2012 LED Light Price

The LED light price is close to energy saving light price.

Two years ago, the 1W LED chip cost was US$3, but now it falls to US$1. Some Taiwan and mainland LED chip is even cheaper at the price of RMB 3 every piece. During a year, the led chip price is down from RMB 6 TO RMB 2.

The LED chip cost takes up the 1/3 total cost of the LED light. The chip price down makes the LED light price down. Due to the chip price down 20% every year, LED light price was as 7-10 times as energy saving lamp. Now it is only 3-4 times. The energy saving lamp price is generally at RMB 6-10. The LED light price has been down from RMB 50-300 to RMB 30-100.

The LED light sales increase above 10%.

Recently the LED light price is down 30%. The mid-range LED light is at RMB 100-300. The LED light sales increase above 10%.

When the LED chip price down, there are inferior LED lights in the market. CNHidee LED light CEO Mr. Chen said there were RMB 10 LED light the same price as the energy saving lamp, but the quality was bad. LED light price will continues to fall. He estimated that the LED light will gradually come to common people home next year.

Some LED light manufacturer competes blindly with low price. They even sell the LED chip at the price of RMB 1. It can work only several days. This gives negative effect for LED light market.

But LED light price will be down with the LED chip price down. CNHidee LED light estimated the LED light sales will increase.
